The agent never invents a fact about your business. That is a feature on a live call and a trap in the first hour: until you set these four things it says it will have someone confirm, and a caller hears a receptionist who knows nothing. The checklist on your home screen tracks them.
1. Hours, as spoken
Write them the way you would say them on the phone: "seven to five, Monday to Friday, and Saturday mornings." The agent reads them aloud exactly.
2. The diagnostic fee, in your words
"Our diagnostic visit is eighty-nine dollars, applied to the repair." Whatever you write is what it says, and it will not say a number you did not write.
3. The service area
Towns and counties, in plain words. An address outside it is turned down politely and the caller is offered a callback rather than booked.
4. Who approves
The people who can say yes to a booking or a dispatch, and the technicians who get the jobs. Until you add others (Pro and Business), requests go to you, in the dashboard app on your phone.
Then ring your own line, say anything, and read it back. That is the last item on the checklist, and the moment most owners stop being nervous.
